KVRSS – 25 Years of Promoting STEM in India Founded in 2001 KVRSS (Dr. K. V. Rao Scientific Society) has dedicated itself to fostering STEM education and research across India. Our mission is to promote and popularize science, among students, from schools to research institutions, cultivating the next generation of scientific minds. Our Journey: Starting with research awards in Chemistry, expanded to cover all core sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Math) and extended reach nationwide. With over 75,000 students impacted through school and university level competitions, innovation centers, and mobile science labs, KVRSS creates platforms for young students and researchers to explore their potential in STEM. Our Initiatives: - Research Awards: More than 250 young scientists recognized, many now in prestigious institutions. - School Programs: From regional to national, inspired thousands through competitive science activities. - Science Innovation Centre: Offers hands-on learning and mentoring. - Mobile Science Lab: Reaching students across remote areas. -Teacher Training: Empowers educators with hands-on STEM teaching techniques, exponentially increasing our reach. - Science Safari Camps: Make learning science a fun experience through games and activities Recognition and Support: KVRSS's efforts have been backed by individuals, corporations like TATAs, Amazon, and Microsoft, and collaborations with leading educational institutions. Eminent scientists feature in our annual Memorial Orations, and our awardees, return to mentor the next generation. Looking Forward: Our vision includes expanding outreach, fostering more collaborations, developing new Science Centres, and establishing mentorship programs for students.
