Kwaxala is an Indigenous-led and majority-owned cooperative transforming genuinely at-risk forests into investment assets protected and regenerated by Indigenous land-title holders. By unlocking these critical ecosystems from extractive industries, we concurrently reconcile Indigenous land-title rights and establish an empowering, Earth-positive investment opportunity for both companies and individuals. Our approach ensures that these protected forests not only generate ongoing revenues through premium carbon credit sales but also fund stewardship and regeneration efforts, benefiting investors and forest communities alike. Kwaxala is pioneering a scalable mechanism for conscious capital to invest in and preserve value in Indigenous-protected and stewarded forests.
