Our mission The Kings Cross Steelers are part of a movement to offer inclusive rugby to all, regardless of rugby experience. We strive to provide a space that promotes the physical and mental wellbeing of our members. Our story The Kings Cross Steelers were founded at Central Station Public House in the Kings Cross area of North London in 1995 - the world’s first gay and inclusive rugby club. Since then, the club community has grown, with four playing squads representing the jersey in Essex, the South East and around the world. We are the reigning World and European International Gay Rugby champions. Join us on our journey We play regularly on Saturdays - come and see us in action at Memorial Park in West Ham.
