Founded in 1984 by Fortunato Frederico and Amilcar Monteiro, Kyaia leads a business group with a team of more than 600 people, which today extends beyond footwear production, including distribution and retail companies, and also, IT, real estate and tourism.
The Kyaia footwear brands are Fly London and Softinos. Kyaia products are sold in 57 countries in more than 3000 points of sale:
- FLY London started in 1994 in the UK. From the very beginning FLY London’s design philosophy has been to create fashion products using traditional techniques in an unexpected way.
- SOFTINOS was launched in 2007 with the mission of making soft shoes. This philosophy is essential and only the softest materials can be used in the making of SOFTINOS shoes.
In Portugal the Kyaia Group also owns a Retail footwear brand, Foreva:
- FOREVA was founded in 1984 and acquired by the Kyaia Group in 2005. With circa 30 stores in Portugal, it offers unique quality products for the medium price segment, both with Foreva brand and partner brands.
