My family has been eating these meals for years at “Family” gatherings and holidays; I wanted to find a way to bring them into our home and the homes of other families for nightly dinner. Dinner isn’t what it used to be, and to live up to the expectations of the 1950’s with a full hot meal on the table after homework and practices will burn out most caregivers. I am a stay at home mom, but a full time volunteer in the mental health field, so being kind to myself and living real expectations is extremely important. I pick and choose my battles, and I choose not to fight over dinner. I choose to have an easy, “home-cooked” meal, made with only the best, fresh ingredients and pre-packaged in sealed pouches.
