1 in every 162 children have Tourette’s Syndrome (CDC 2012). CBIT is the primary behavioral therapy for those with TS which teaches a person to become aware of their tics and helps them create a competing response to them. Kyntic supports CBIT therapists who need a more effective and accurate way for their patients to log the frequency, intensity and environment of their tics in order to provide individualized support. Our wearable device tracks and records tics for patients, collecting movement data and environmental factors, and bridges a gap of understanding between patient and their therapists.
