L'ONG EDA DRC

The NGO EDA DRC is a national non-governmental organization (NGO) for Congolese rights that has been operating in the Democratic Republic of Congo in the fields of humanitarian aid and sustainable development since 2015, with its team available on the ground in the provinces of Ituri; North and South Kivu; Tanganyika, Haut Uele, and representation in Kinshasa. EDA-DRC is a multisectoral development organization with its headquarters in Beni City in the North Kivu Province, a coordination office in the city of Goma, and sub-offices in other cities such as Kalemie, Bunia, and Bukavu. However, the headquarters can be transferred to any other location in the Democratic Republic of Congo by decision of the General Assembly, the supreme organ, and based on the urgency of the organization's actions. The NGO EDA DRC is tasked with the mission of protecting and enforcing the rights of all; children; youth and the most vulnerable women, and fighting against discrimination; marginalization; combating poverty but also promoting gender equality between men and women, "young girls and young boys in urban and rural areas in the DRC." The vision of the non-governmental organization EDA DRC is to imagine a world where the rights of children, vulnerable women, and youth are respected in a healthy and non-discriminatory environment in all possible dimensions. The NGO EDA DRC has all the legal documents authorizing it to operate in the DRC and works in various fields including: Child and environmental protection; Education; Food security; SGBV, Good governance, PSEA Conflict resolution and peace. Health - HIV/AIDS and reproductive health, Cash WASH; AME & SHELTERS in the emergency program. Female leadership and youth entrepreneurship.
