In recent years, the profession of landscape architecture has expanded to take on larger problems, scales, and aspirations. That development has made it one of the most consequential and inspiring practices of design today.
Our Department of Landscape Architecture offers four STEM-designated degree programs: Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA), Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA), Master of Sustainable Urban Design (MSUD), and Ph.D. in Landscape Architecture. As first-professional degrees, our BLA and MLA programs are professionally accredited by the Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board (LAAB), a unit of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). We also offer an undergraduate Minor in Landscape Studies and a graduate Minor in Heritage Studies.
