La Leccia

Fattoria La Leccia, located in Montespertoli (Fi), of the Bagnoli family, owner of the Sammontana group, is a reality that boasts a centennial history, yet where the fief of the Machiavelli family once stood. La Leccia is a company of 22 hl vineyards, located at 200 meters above sea level, the soil is composed of a general pedological dynamism with clay-limestone and clay soil. All wines are entirely produced and bottled at the origin and since 2019 they are certified organic. Our commitment is based on simple beliefs. We prefer the indigenous grape variety, Sangiovese and Trebbiano, and try to enhance them by giving them different interpretations. We believe in respect for nature and for this reason we have chosen the organic way. We believe in art both as craftsmanship in manufacturing and as an aesthetic tension. In the end we believe in the right change, that conscious improvement of quality that comes from tradition and develops in innovation.
