La Plataforma Art Gallery

La Plataforma is an art gallery and production studio that opened its doors in 2010 in a former printing press in the industrial area of Poblenou, Barcelona. Its mission is to promote art through exhibition programming, event production, and curatorial projects. The gallery collaborates with both national and international contemporary artists, providing a space for the dissemination, creation, and promotion of the most current art. During its first decade, La Plataforma has evolved into a contemporary gallery model that promotes the exposure of work by emerging and mid-career artists, whose works reflect the various realities of the cultural landscape. Within the gallery's production studio, the Poblenou Urban District association was founded with the goal of promoting Poblenou as the Creative District of Barcelona. Currently, La Plataforma collaborates with the association on various projects.
