Laaya Foods was founded on our passion for bees, honey, and the environment. Since its inception, Laaya Foods has been working alongside marginalized and tribal farmer communities intending to provide significantly better livelihood to these communities from agricultural and allied activities. These communities are deeply rooted in their tradition and their love of Mother Nature. They abstain from practicing modern high-yield, expensive, and harmful farming practices and are thus the leading practitioners of organic and natural agricultural processes. We associate with such communities, extend them resources in different forms such as scientific or monetary assistance, better market linkage, education regarding government schemes, post-harvest management, and technological advancements they require and help them with better price realization for their efforts and commitment. We have partnered with multiple farming communities of Jharkhand, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, and Tripura. With our joint efforts, the communities can fetch better prices for their natural and non-toxic produce. Our farmer communities are also involved in producing value-added products and taking up other agricultural practices apart from farming.
