LABBELS is an Associate Lab composed of CEB (Centre of Biological Engineering) and CMEMS (Center for Microelectromechanical Systems). Established in 2021, LABBELS is based at the University of Minho, Portugal.
Our mission is to promote excellent research and innovation, linking biotechnology and bioengineering with microelectromechanical systems to address, at an accelerated pace, the challenges of the transition to an environmentally sustainable, circular, and climate-neutral economy, aligned with the objectives of Public Policies.
Our Vision of linking life and technology to shape the future is fulfilled by creating cutting-edge knowledge and value for society, powered by an inspiring research environment based on multidisciplinary cooperation and scientific excellence.
