The Clinical Analysis Laboratory of the Hospital Universitario San Juan de Alicante-Sant Joan d’Alacant is a multidisciplinary service that leads clinical decision-making through the combination of the latest advances in health technology, as well as the use of algorithms for the automation of clinical tests. Its mission is the prevention, diagnosis, prognosis, monitoring and treatment of diseases through laboratory medicine. Specifically, laboratory professionals partner with healthcare professionals from various medical specialties. Its vision, on the other hand, is to provide maximum benefit to citizens, patients and society. This was recently recognized by the Univants of Healthcare Excellence Award 2020.
