Maymó is one of the longest-standing Spanish veterinary companies. Over 90 years’ history, Maymó has worked firmly and constantly in developing health products. Our long career has enabled us to become a reference in animal health, providing our experience, knowledge and a high level of commitment to our environment. With the acquisition of a pharmacy in Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona, Laboratorios Maymó was founded in 1929 by Dr Josep Maymó. From the early days until the 1960s, the company manufactured master formulas and pharmaceutical specialties for human use. As from 1960, the company’s activity leaned towards the manufacturing of veterinary medicines by developing patents and manufacturing raw materials for veterinary use. In 1970 the company as we know this today was set up, under the name of Laboratorios Maymó, S.A. Maymó is a company of Zendal group, a bioparmecutical group focused on vaccines and biotechnology.
