Laboris Catrame

Laboris Catrame was born on a small plateau a few kilometers from the Royal Palace of Caserta. A handkerchief of land overlooking the Matese Massif and Mount Taburno, mountains that separate Upper Campania from Molise and Sannio Beneventano. The ancient volcano of Roccamonfina to the northwest and Vesuvius to the southeast place us in the middle of a vast amphitheater facing the sea which contains breathtaking landscapes and a particular microclimate. A large area once called Terra Laboris. A unique territory with great biodiversity that hosts the most important watercourses of Campania, the Volturno, and, the Calore Irpino which right at the foot of our plateau gives way to the other to converge towards the sea. Terra Laboris is our history, our present and our future. It becomes the personification of our desire to tell it. Laboris is a member of the Tar family. The intent is to rediscover the past in sustainability, balance and harmony with the elements of the earth. The authenticity of a land returns unique and original wines. With absolute attention to detail we translate the originality of the territory into wines of the highest quality. Our wines are the maximum expression of two ancient recovered vineyards and of two native varieties of Alta Campania, Pallagrello Bianco and Casavecchia.
