Laborplast

On 2022 Laborplast celebrates 64 years of activity. The company is actually one of the Italian and European leaders of rigid PVC processing: -PVC compound for extrusion and injection moulding; -PVC core for flexible packaging -PVC - PE - PP full and hollowed rods. It all begun on 1958 on a small plant in the town of Sacconago, where Pariani brothers launch a production of construction industry PVC solutions, especially pipes and connectors for the local construction sites. The real estate growth of the period and the perseverance of Eugenio, Pierino, Paolo and Giovanni create a swift and profitable start. On 1973 a new plant in Bienate di Magnago gets inaugurated. “Fratelli Pariani” becomes “Laborplast”, a company ready to face the new market incentives. The management is aware of the industrial packaging evolution, therefore the production of PVC cores for reels starts. This is a revolution, since cores for reels were usually produced of spiral cardboard. As the new Millennium arrives, the company buy a regeneration plant with high productive capacity, in order to offer to the market also PVC compound. On 2013 the new Busto Arsizio plant is ready: over 10.000 sm where cores production doubles and compound production triples. Until today the growth is permanent: the 2013 10.000 tons become 20.000 tons in 2017. Today the company hourly productive capacity gets above 5.000 kg/h. On 2015 the awareness that improvement cannot leave research out of consideration leads to the creation of an internal laboratory to run the main mechanical tests (compression, traction, 3-point flexure, MVR, MFR, VST, HDT, Charpy and Izod) and chemical tests (thermal stability) The sixtieth year of activity brings the extension of the selection. On January 2018 Laborplast start the production of PVC, PE and PP full and hollowed rods (round, squared, hexagonal and rectangular). In 2021 the new building was ready and compounding capcity has been improved.
