The LABOUR project is financed by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia within the DEVELOPMENT Program – Green program of cooperation between science and industry, and it uses an interdisciplinary approach implemented by carefully selected experts from the BioSense Institute – Research and Development (R&D) Institute for IT in biosystems, to conduct state-of-the-art research combining molecular biology, biochemistry, electrochemistry, sensor technologies and material science to develop an innovative biosensor solution for field i.e., Point-of-need (PON) detection of GMs in four agricultural cultures that are most often genetically modified (maize, soybean, wheat and rapeseed) with a high degree of specificity.
