About Los Angeles County Asian American Employees Association (LACAAEA)

LACAAEA was established in 1972 by dedicated Los Angeles County civil servants seeking to improve and promote the workplace for over 19% of the County workforce that identify as Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islanders. Currently, we have a growing membership of more than 400 diverse members at all levels of the workforce, representing 30+ County departments. One of the primary functions of LACAAEA is to work alongside others to promote diversity, equity and inclusion in the County and to give members opportunities to network as well as encourage their professional development to showcase their skills in the workplace and in their local communities. LACAAEA’s Board meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Members are encouraged to attend and get actively involved in various ways.
