Established in 1997, LACEF aims to raise standards and promote best practice in the field of local authority debt collection in an informal but secure environment.
We have over 900 members from most councils in England & Wales and a few in Scotland. We also have members from central govt departments.
The LACEF forum is a great way to raise issues and questions relating to Council Tax, Business Rates, Adult Social Care, Parking etc. Posts are made daily by members.
There is no membership fee. Its all free to use and is run by a team of experienced council staff from around the country.
Seminars and conferences are also free to attend for LACEF members.
LACEF is hosted on the Knowledge Hub site. See About page. Sign up to Knowledge Hub (also free) and search for LACEF and request to join.
