The Lebanese Association for Digital Transformation (LADT) is a non-profit Organization with registered No. 988 dated 9/5/2018 at The Ministry of Interior and Municipalities in Lebanon. LADT speaks for an industry that aims to touch the daily lives of individuals, business leaders, and policy makers by facilitating applications of digital transformation for a new hyper age. LADT’s vision is to focus on promoting economic identity, sustainable development initiatives, and enhancing consumer safety and industry competitiveness. Our mission is to overcome the challenges, mitigate the risks, and leverage opportunities offered by the digital transformation. • Provide comprehensive and effective paradigm shifts by embracing digital technology. • Adhere to best practices and engage all stakeholders. What do we do? Improve digital literacy by fostering an open culture of simply placing disciplinary insights side-by-side to much more integrative and transformative approaches. Offering best practices of networking, advocacy, and industry information through maintaining the ability to bridge the communication chasm between the cutting-edge technologies and existing market leaders. Oversee research activities and develop knowledge-based programs within a coworking space to enhance group work and peer learning with an eclectic mix of backgrounds and experience that the association offers to build skills and develop talents. Establish advanced regulations and laws to facilitate technology growth. There is a lot of work to be done around merchant adoption, friendlier user experience, and regulatory clarification. The interest of financial institutions to support technology- oriented startups by leveraging investments into bridging the gap between innovation and regulatory roadblocks.
