From George and Gina’s (one set of owners) to La Fonda Boricua (another set of owners) to La Fonda Restaurant and Tapas Bar (a new set of owners) to now what is La Fonda NYC (a student of the founder of La Fonda Boricua to now the owner). All these changes happened for different reasons, but the goal has remained the same, providing a Puerto Rican establishment to provide a culinary experience unlike others and keep our food on the map as a cuisine filled with culture, texture and of course taste.
