The Laboratory for Financial and Risk Analytics (LAFRA) is a research group based in the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (UNIZG-FER), Croatia.
Our research focuses on developing statistical methods and machine learning algorithms for applications in finance. Our mission is to leverage technology to improve risk modelling and asset management in modern financial markets.
We bring together researchers with backgrounds in computer science, information processing, mathematics, and quantitative finance, who work on projects in partnership with government agencies and experts from the industry. The members of the Laboratory also teach graduate and postgraduate courses at UNIZG-FER and supervise students working on their bachelor and master theses.
