The brand has since expanded to five more locations, namely: Lagoon Hospital, Awolowo Way, Ikeja; Lagoon Hospital, Victoria Island; Lagoon Clinics, Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja; Lagoon Specialist Suites, Victoria Island; and Lagoon Hospital, Ikoyi. In May 18 2011, Lagoon Hospitals became the first Hospital in Sub-Saharan Africa to earn the Gold Seal accreditation from the Joint Commission International (JCI), the global accreditation body for healthcare quality improvement. Lagoon Hospitals was a subsidiary of the Hygeia Group until its full acquisition in 2021 by Iwosan Investments Limited, an indigenous and privately held healthcare investment group committed to improving healthcare systems in Africa.
