LaHave River Campground

Welcome to the LaHave River Campground! You will find our quaint family owned and operated campground in Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia, nestled in a forested area along a subset of the LaHave River. Although only a half hour from world renowned tourist towns such as Lunenburg and Mahone Bay, as well as stunning beaches along the Atlantic Ocean, your drive to LaHave will bring you into rural Nova Scotia, where you will feel like you are a million miles away from everything! Come camp with us and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature on our riverside property, where we host remote tent sites, serviced campsites, tiny cabins, a rental trailer, as well as monthly and seasonal spots. We are the ultimate family friendly camping destination in Nova Scotia! There is much for all ages to enjoy across our 15 acre grounds, from swimming holes and a dock, to a playground and a dog run, to horseshoe pits and washer toss, basketball and pool, and so much more! For peace and quiet with more space to fan out, come camping with us on the weekdays, and for more of a fulsome sense of community with events, we recommend booking a weekend stay. We are proud to be hosting 97 activities for all ages this year! Our 2025 camping season runs from May 9th to October 13th, and we are accepting reservations now.
