Los Angeles Holiness Church

Los Angeles Holiness Church is a family-oriented, multi-generational Christian church with English and Japanese speaking congregations and partnering with a Spanish speaking congregation. Since 1921 when the church began, LA Holiness Church has been worshiping and serving the Lord in the heart of Los Angeles. Whether you are looking for a church to call home or just visiting, we want you to know that you are welcome! A Typical Service The English service begins at 10:15am with announcements to let you know what is happening at LA Holiness Church. After this is some worship songs, Bible reading , and then a message from our pastor. (If you have a Bible, it would be helpful if you bring it. If not, don’t worry! We have Bibles available for you!) This is followed by a time of prayer, closing worship songs, and then a collection of offering. (As a visitor you will not be asked or expected to give an offering. You are our guest!) If you have any questions after the service, you are welcome to talk or to pray with our pastor or staff. Children’s Church We have a wonderful children’s program called Children’s Church which starts at 10:15am for infants (starting from 1 year old) to 6th grade. While the adults are in the worship service on the first floor, the children will be on the second floor in the education building learning about God through Bible lessons, worship songs, games, crafts, and more! We have a nursery for infants (starting at age 1) and toddlers (up to age 3), a preschool/kindergarten class (ages 3-5), an early elementary class and an upper elementary class. When the adult worship service ends, the children will be dismissed to meet their parents. Parents of infants, toddlers, and preschool/kindergarten children will have to go to the nursery/preschool/kindergarten class to pick up their children. Lunch After the English and Japanese congregations finish their respective worship services, we often gather together to have lunch in the Social Hall.
