Libya Africa Investment Portfolio (LAIP), established in 2006 and it is owned by the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA).
Our purpose is to seek investment opportunities and build a diversified and balanced portfolio that includes firms operating in diversified industries and regions as part of our nation’s overarching growth and development strategy. We also aim to achieve sustainable long-term returns that preserve and enhance the fund`s wealth across numerous industries, geographies, asset classes and investments by engaging in different sectors.
LAIP seeks out opportunities that guarantee growth as well as long-term partnerships using various investments strategies. We focus on industries that are proven competitive and that comprise successful models with strong foundations that other business and clusters can be built around.
