Lake Country Classical Academy

Lake Country Classical Academy (LCCA) is a public (tuition-free) charter school serving Kindergarten through 12th grade students. We are a great option for families who prefer a content-rich curriculum in the liberal arts and sciences with a focus on character development and a teacher-led learning environment. The classical curriculum taught at LCCA emphasizes the core disciplines of math, science, history, and language arts, including phonics and writing, with significant attention to music, art, and foreign languages. Each of these disciplines is taught with an emphasis on the history and traditions of American citizens as the inheritors of Western civilization. Lake Country Classical Academy is a Hillsdale College Member School, a distinction that offers our school access to curriculum and training from the Hillsdale College K-12 Education Office. Each year complimentary training is offered at Hillsdale College for the board, leadership, and teachers at LCCA, and representatives from Hillsdale visit the school regularly to advise and observe.
