La Llanterna is a space dedicated to the care of body and mind, as well as self-knowledge. The project is specially inspired in the Chinese culture of Yangsheng or Life Cultivation, where the human being is understood from a perspective that encompasses all its complexity: the body, the emotions, the thoughts, the environment, the qi or vital force… According to Chinese traditional thought, the human being has three indivisible aspects (three treasures): jing – qi – shen (physical essence – vital force – spirit). They represent our tangible aspect married to our intangible aspect, in constant dialogue through the vital force or qi that composes and moves us.
