Lamas Biotechnology is a start-up company founded in January 2018 with the funding programme of TUBITAK in Mersin. Aim of the company is developing technologies based on agricultural residues for the production of economically valuable products such as essential oils, bioethanol and chemicals. Waste management is one of the biggest environmental problems especially for developing countries. Using agricultural residues which considered as garbage creates a method for waste management. Furthermore we are working together with the partners who are experts in their fields for developing products consisting raw materials which are obtained with multiple processes of agricultural residues for different sectors such as pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food.
