Lamb Space Tec

Lamb Space Tec stands for sustainable space applications and focuses on the production of robust and sustainable CubeSat structures and satellite components made from the high-performance polymer PEEK. In the future, recycled plastics and bioplastics will also be used to further optimize the carbon footprint of space applications. On the other hand, Lamb Space Tec develops and produces smart and sustainable actuators based on shape memory alloys. These powerful and particularly lightweight actuators can be integrated into various hold-down and release mechanisms. In addition to standardized actuators, the shape memory elements can also be individually integrated into structures and housings in order to save even more installation space and weight. Lamb Space Tec's next step is the development of its own 1U CubeSat platform, which, in addition to the plastic structure, also has a new concept for PCB integration including backplane. The platform is standardized and scalable up to 12U. Furthermore, the on-board computer, the communication module and the energy management system are also based on the latest industrial technologies and standards.
