Lancaster SHRM is a professional organization focused on the professional development of our individual members, and the increase of public awareness of human resource management as a valuable profession with recognized standards of practice. Lancaster SHRM is an affiliate chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). SHRM is the world's largest professional membership organization dedicated exclusively to the advancement of human resource management. The mission of Lancaster SHRM is to support the needs of its members by: -Informing them of human resources issues, -Affirming their efforts through networking and relationship building -Developing their skills and knowledge of value to their organizations, and -Promoting the Association and human resources professionalism. With over 400 members representing more than 100 organizations, Lancaster SHRM continues to be an excellent resource for networking and the exchange of information among human resource professionals in Lancaster County for over 60 years.
