Landucci, pasta dies manufacturer: the art of giving shape to pasta

Landucci took its first steps in 1925 in Pistoia, specialising in the manufacture of dies for pasta, which were usually made of copper. This soft metal was employed because it was suitable for handwork, and in particular for manufacturing the square-shaped holes. These were produced with artisan expertise by means of punches.
The company development has followed the growth and evolution of italian pasta industry, that over time has required more and more enhanced machinery.
