Langages Du Sud is an independent and audacious publishing house that publishes, creates and produces quality cultural and educational content on Africa. For over a decade, LDS has been revealing and transmitting Africa's living cultural heritage and working to educate youth. Based in Casablanca, Morocco, Langages Du Sud is renowned for its original concepts and its collaborations with the continent's most renowned artists. Fine books, documentaries, features, digital platforms, children's collections, and 2D and 3D animated series capture the essence of the African continent and broadcast it worldwide in Arabic, French, and English. With more than 150 titles grouped into 3 axes, culture & heritage, mobility and economy & sociology, LDS is rooted in its environment and has created a unique signature on the continent. Langages du Sud creates a strong social impact and values inclusion through a multigenerational team, of varied cultural origins but sharing the same value of humanism. Founded in 2012 by Patricia Defever, a recognized and distinguished editor on the African and European cultural scenes, author of a dozen books on culture and iconic brands. She has over 25 years of experience in publishing and production.
