We are a New York-based Educational Non-profit. Our team includes an extensive network of experts with advanced degrees in Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Cognitive Sciences, Psychometrics, and Computer Sciences.
We provide language-related products and services. Our particular focus is on additional-languages (e.g., second languages), and we offer intelligent solutions to organizations and companies, so they can better serve their teachers, learners, clients, and other stake-holders.
We use cutting-edge science and technology to create and provide our products and services. For example, we create innovative assessment tools, and then use artificial intelligence to develop automated scoring systems for them.
Our goal is to use science and technology to remedy language-related problems. Our focus is on products and services that improve the lives of disadvantaged members of our communities.
For example, we create pedagogical materials for adult learners of English with little or zero level of literacy in their first language. Or, we develop assessment accessibility guidelines for test developers in the K-12 context.
We also invest back into our own research community by creating research and development opportunities for graduate students in the field of Applied Linguistics.
