Our planet is the only place that can truly be called home, making it of utmost importance to take all necessary steps to protect it. Lanus Solar provides an innovative solution that can significantly improve the efficiency of green energy. The Lanus QDUP is an additional coating for solar spectrum optimization. The technology is applicable to both new and existing solar panels. QDUP involves applying a transparent plastic layer with nanoscale semiconductor particles, known as quantum dots, on the surface of the solar panel. Our main purpose is to create a more efficient and environmentally friendly solution using existing infrastructure. Thanks to the upgrade spray-coating, anyone can increase the performance of their conventional solar panels already installed, without the need for further upgrades. Our long-term goal is to develop a layer that not only converts high-energy UV and blue photons into red photons on a one-to-one basis but also generates two photons from one UV/blue photon, thereby doubling the efficiency improvement and potentially achieving a +40.2% increase in efficiency.
