LAP is a non-profit organization that represents the interests of all PhD candidates of the LUMC. We are active locally in collaboration with the LUMC Graduate School and the dean of the faculty of medicine, regionally with different partner organizations, while on a national level we are part of Promovendi Netwerk Nederland (PNN).
We organize several activities each year, which vary from academic lectures to career events, the LUMC PhD Day, workshops, networking opportunities and social gatherings.
You can register as a LAP member and receive our monthly newsletter when you register your PhD trajectory in the Converis module or you can email us directly.
You can also contact us for any other questions you might have or contact our PhD confidant if you have run into (PhD guidance) issues during your trajectory.
