Formed in 2018, the Laru Beya Collective is a community-based organization dedicated to empowering the historically excluded youth of Far Rockaway through year-round mentor-led activities. We offer programs in surfing, water safety, and rock climbing, as well as art workshops and environmental activations. Our goal is to develop our mentees into well-rounded, confident, and environmentally conscious adults.
