LASC ( Language Arts of Southern California)

LASC Language Arts of Southern California (formerly Language Scholastics), founded in 1982, was established with the primary mission of helping newly arrived immigrants gain English proficiency. Over the years, LASC has grown to include three campuses in Southern California, strategically located in Los Angeles, Rowland Heights, and Irvine. At LASC, we take pride in our distinctive academic program, developed under the leadership of an Academic Director trained at Harvard. This program is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge to integrate English fluency into their personal and professional lives. LASC also employs Student Representatives who are fluent in the native languages of our diverse student body, ensuring each student receives the necessary support for a successful academic journey. These representatives play a key role in guiding students along their educational path. Our multi-campus presence provides students with unique opportunities to immerse themselves in various aspects of American life. With access to a wide range of cultural experiences, entertainment, and travel opportunities throughout the United States, LASC’s holistic approach to language education enriches the lives and futures of our students.
