LASIK MD is a leading provider of laser vision correction, with over 40 locations in Canada. LASIK MD was founded in 2001 by Dr. Mark Cohen and Dr. Avi Wallerstein. The first clinics opened in Toronto and Montreal, and by 2006, LASIK MD had opened clinics in Ottawa, Calgary, and Vancouver. Today, from our head office in Montreal, LASIK MD is a national provider of laser vision correction employing over 700 employees. To date, LASIK MD surgeons have collectively performed over 750,000 laser vision correction procedures, and perform more than 75,000 per year in Canada. This represents over 50% of the national yearly total. LASIK MD has been awarded the designation of “One of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies” for the last four years running. Drs.
