Established in 2006, LaStella Winery is situated by Osoyoos Lake in Canada’s only pocket desert in the South Okanagan Valley of British Columbia.
LaStella was created to capture the vision of la dolce vita: the harmony of fine wine, food and music with each of its wines named for a musical theme: Leggiero, Vivace, Allegretto, Fortissimo, Maestoso. Along with sister winery, Le Vieux Pin, they have upwards of 50 acres of prime vineyards on Oliver’s Golden Mile and Black Sage Bench, as well as South Osoyoos and Osoyoos Lake district.
In their commitment to excellence, LaStella practices low input viticulture and sustainable farming to achieve very low yields and complex, concentrated flavours in their grapes. The winemaking philosophy is non-interventionism in approach.
