As a published author, I have worked alongside professional editors. I felt that editing was my strong suit for I have the skill set for this craft including being detailed oriented, a fast reader, and experience. I have edited a friend's short story which he then submitted to his college's magazine, and it was one of two short stories to be published in 2017. As a published author, I wished to have had the opportunity to have a second, or even a third, pair of trained eyes to look over my manuscript. I would have also wished to find someone that would not break the bank. From my experience, I know that publishers enjoy manuscripts that are already as professional as possible. I am independent, freelance editor that will critique any work of fiction with a detailed perspective for grammar and punctuation, plot bunnies and plot holes, believable characters and dialogue, and anything that my client has specifically asked me to look for. This will be done in a professional manor, in the time allotted, and will serve in an honest edit, not criticism.
