Last Sonic Frontier specializes in creating sound design and music for high-end clients, sound editing and post-production, as well as consulting in the field of sonic branding and audio technologies. The company was founded by Alessandro Camnasio, a sound designer/composer whose credits include sound design for many blockbuster trailer campaigns, commissioned art music, virtual instruments, awards, sound design for international brands, teaching at the University and features on magazines such as Sound On Sound, Electronic Musician, the MIT Press Computer Music Journal, MusicTech, Future Music. Alessandro also owns three degrees from the Conservatory G. Verdi of Milan: in Composition (Magna), Electro-acoustic Music, and Sound Technologies with a thesis on Sound Design (both with 'Magna cum Laude'). Last Sonic Frontier has an extensive experience in the application of the most advanced sound technologies and sound design processes such as: audio convolution, audio morphing, cross-synthesis, psychoacoustics, virtual instruments, ultra-high-definition microphones, audio restoration, 3D audio, advanced techniques of sound analysis and resynthesis, visual programming languages designed for audio, proprietary software, etc. The knowledge gained thru the research in the fields of experimental, art and electro-acoustic music is combined with a deep understanding of the principles of using sound as a powerful mean to communicate, enhance and serve the projects of our clients.
