Founded in 1972, we are a family owned property development company specialising in the creation of bespoke schemes across Surrey and the South East. Latchmere is a privately owned company whose directors come with a wealth of experience in navigating the pitfalls of the planning system and developing beautiful homes throughout the Surrey Hills, and beyond. Primarily we undertake housing opportunities, although we do also have a commercial portfolio. We are experienced at not only spotting opportunities but also securing difficult planning permissions, often by taking a patient and intelligent approach to deliver consents at a local level, ideally without the need to go to appeal. We are hugely selective about the schemes we pursue and will always tailor the deal to best suits the land owners needs, whether that be a straight unconditional purchase, a subject to planning deal or some form of promotional agreement.
