LateralView Design and Consultants Global LLP is a multidisciplinary architecture and design company with a legacy spanning over two decades. Originally founded in 1998 by Civil Engineer Mr. M.K. Pillai in Kerala, the practice began with a strong foundation in residential and religious architecture, rooted in technical precision and contextual sensibility. In 2017, the practice evolved under the creative direction of Architect Vivek Pillai, who expanded its design philosophy and geographic presence through a dynamic studio in Delhi, formerly known as BreathingRoots Design Collectives. This phase marked a significant transition into design-led, experiential, and holistic architecture, with projects across interiors, landscapes, and urban design. In 2025, the firm entered a new chapter with the formation of LateralView Design and Consultants Global LLP, backed by new investors and the strategic leadership of international businessman Mr. Shaji Ramchandran as Chief Financial Officer. The rebranding brought with it a broader global outlook, an expanded service portfolio, and a permanent head office in Bengaluru, with supporting branches in Kerala and Delhi. Today, LateralView delivers integrated solutions in architecture, interior design, landscape, BIM, property consulting, and construction management, combining creative vision with executional clarity. Our team brings together technical experts, creative designers, and business strategists, ensuring that every project—whether residential, commercial, or hospitality—is contextual, sustainable, and culturally responsive.
