Latinas in Cleantech

Latinas in Cleantech (LIC) is Silicon Valley's and Americas' first pioneering community with the mission to connect, inspire, empower and support the advancement of Latina women working in cleantech. All Latinas working in e-mobility/clean transportation/EVs, solar/renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainability/climate justice, water and wastewater, wind power, supply chain, biofuels, grid/smart grid, carbon reduction, circular economy, AI, and all related clean technology areas are welcome. The Americas is the market with the most cleantech developments, and LATAM the second largest with electric fleets deployments in the world right after China. Despite different perceptions and approach from the North to the South, Latin America keeps leading and has shown North America that the transition has to work not just locally but working together across the continent. Latina women continue to lead and are a force to be reckoned with in the industry and it only makes sense to provide the space and recognition for their work. This group is here for that and for anyone in the private and public sectors interested in supporting us, our work and the continued expansion of the cleantech industry and markets. The group has been realized and thought through since 2013, but had to be officialized 2018 due to the pressing need to have Latinas included and supported in the cleantech industry.
