Welcome to the Latinas in Tech chapter in North Carolina! Our mission is to support and empower Latinas in the tech industry, and to promote diversity and inclusion within the tech sector. But let’s be real, we also just really love talking about technology and nerding out together. So if you’re into that kind of thing, you’re in the right place! We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to succeed in the tech industry, regardless of their background or identity. As Latinas, we face unique challenges and barriers to entry in the tech industry, but we’re not ones to back down from a challenge. In fact, we’re pretty sure we can fix any computer issue just by staring at it intensely and speaking to it in Spanish. It’s a skill. Whether you are just starting out in tech, or you are a seasoned professional, we welcome you to join us and become a part of our community. We offer networking events, mentorship opportunities, and educational workshops to help you succeed in your tech career. Plus, we have a pretty good time together too.
