Our role is to demystify and simplify the complex process of selling a business, starting with the selection of the investment bank best suited to maximize the success of the transaction. Our proven process includes the following steps:
• Get to know our client and its business
• Prepare a summary of key value drivers and adjusted financial information used to solicit investment banks
• Identify and pre-screen investment banks (deal size fit, industry knowledge/experience, staffing model, availability/bandwidth, etc.)
• Assist with investment bank selection and negotiation of engagement terms
• Monitor and advise on investment bank workstreams throughout the sale process
• Consult with the owner, investment bankers and attorneys at key decision points in the process
We stay involved throughout the process helping guide the owner with a calm and steady hand based on our experiences assisting hundreds of clients as investment bankers and selling our own businesses using investment bankers. We also bring uncompromising integrity and thoughtfulness to give the owner unconflicted, trustworthy advice.
