Launchpad is a Hawaii-based non-profit that streamlines the path for students to earn living-wage careers regardless of continuing to college or trade school. Together, we’re launching our future generations onto a streamlined path to consciously cultivate growth in Hawaii.
One semester a year, Launchpad students are grouped into teams to help sponsoring businesses, non-profits, and their communities uncover inefficiencies in the workplace using Kure's AI-powered technology, teamwork and grit. The results include creating value for communities and customers, and saving time and resources for the respective businesses.
Launchpad students are given real-world experiences that they can add to a resume, well before even graduating from high school. At the end of the semester, a panel of prominent local business leaders evaluates their performances and awards scholarships to the winners. Not only is Launchpad changing the trajectory to disadvantaged students through real-world work experience, but they provide mentorship, encourage self-esteem, and instill a philosophy that giving back to one’s community is vital to true happiness and success.
