Launch understands the needs of exceptional children and their families. With a complete staff of professionals and volunteers, we are here to provide support for the children and their caregivers through individual and group therapy services, parent support groups and more. Since 2015, Launch has served over 2900 children with disabilities and their families by providing speech, occupational and physical therapies. It is our goal to provide services close to home and school, based on the frequency and duration research indicates is most effective, and to integrate the child into the community by supporting individuals, businesses, and programs. Funds raised will help provide services for children with disabilities beyond what is covered by insurance and Medicaid. This may include outpatient therapy, parent support, community awareness, collaboration with other agencies/programs, and support for inclusive programs in the community. In some cases, services are limited due to insurance visit limits, policy exclusions, or high out of pocket costs. As of today, there are over 400 children awaiting services on our waitlist. No child is turned away due to inability to pay for services. Some ways you can help include: ● Sponsor an event. ● Donate an auction item. It is the mission of Launch to “Help Exceptional Children Lead Extraordinary Lives.” We always say “it takes a village” to achieve this work. We invite you to be part of our “village”. We could not do it without your support.
