Welcome to Launchy, a new take on training and recruiting. We founded this business to help people train and create a solid foundation for a career in tech companies. We have successfully trained people from a variety of backgrounds including military veterans, art majors, and bartenders. Unlike other dev-shop programs, we train and place all SDLC team roles and we stress team skills necessary to succeed in tech companies. Our candidates are evaluated through an appraisal model developed over the last 10 years of large scale hiring in the tech industry. They have a high aptitude and are passionately motivated. Our training is highly contextual and role specific to adequately prepare them for the challenges of a fast paced technology company. Based on our previous corporate training, the majority of our placements have been promoted in their first 12 months; some as quick as 3 months post training.
